As a neurologist and lifestyle medicine expert, I have seen that real change happens when nutrition, movement, sleep, stress, connection, and daily habits work together. This is where transformation begins and where your best health becomes possible.
I am Dr. Lynette Gogol. I live near Houston, Texas, with my husband, Mark, and our triplet daughters. I was born and raised in West Virginia, earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Bethany College, and completed my medical degree at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine. I trained in neurology at the Cleveland Clinic, where I served as Chief Resident, and completed a fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology at Henry Ford Hospital with advanced training in EMG, NCS, and EEG. Over the past two decades, my clinical work has focused on neuromuscular conditions, and I am triple board certified in Neurology, Electrodiagnostic Medicine, and Lifestyle Medicine.
My work today looks different from when I began practicing.
Through my daughter’s journey with chronic symptoms and years of symptom management without clear answers, I saw the limits of conventional care. That experience shifted my focus from short term fixes to lasting lifestyle transformation.
I hold certifications in Health Coaching, Holistic Health, and Naturopathy from the Trinity School of Natural Health and a certification in Nutrition Science from the Stanford Center for Health Education. I have also studied functional medicine and comprehensive, lifestyle based approaches to wellness.
Today, I bring together neuroscience, clinical medicine, and natural health to coach and educate clients on sustainable lifestyle changes that restore energy, sharpen focus, stabilize mood, and protect long term brain and body health. Why I Do This Work
Personally, I know what it feels like to search for answers. After more than two decades in medicine, I watched many people work hard to manage their health yet never experience complete healing. Too often patients left with more prescriptions but without the tools to feel better day to day. When my own daughter faced chronic symptoms with no clear path forward, I felt that same frustration not only as a physician but also as a mother.
That experience became a turning point. I learned that real healing is not a quick fix. It is the sum of how we live each day: the food we eat, the way we move, the sleep we prioritize, the stress we manage, and the connections we nurture. These choices build resilience, restore vitality, and protect long-term health.
I have stood on both sides. Clinically, as a neurologist, I understand the science of how the brain and body function. Personally, I know what it is like to want answers and not find them. This perspective fuels my mission: to walk beside you with the knowledge, tools, and support you need to finally thrive.
